Torres: No More Premier League for Me
Sabtu, 22 November 2014 14:52 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - AC Milan forward Fernando Torres says no more English Premier League for him after departing on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window. Torres revealed that Milan is his sole focus right now as he aims to bring back their former glory days.
"Seven years [in England] were enough," the 30-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport .
"It's a great league, but it seems better than it is because they know how to sell it and push it more than in other European countries.”
Prior to playing in Italy, Torres had his productive days with Liverpool during 2007 to 2011 but not too bright with Chelsea in 2011 to 2014.
