TEMPO.CO, London - Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers (QPR) have been fined £20,000 or around US$31,000 each by the Football Association (FA) after admitting to failing to control their players during a Premier League match in different places, the FA announced on Monday.

Both clubs admitted to failing to ask their players to behave like footballers. The fine was imposed on Sunderland related to the incident that occurred during the 76th minute of the 1-1 match against Everton at the Stadium of Light on November 9.

Sunderland players threw their anger at referee Lee Mason, who had given Everton a penalty kick from a fouled by Sunderland striker Connor Wickham to Seamus Coleman.

QPR was fined for their player’s action against referee Mike Riley in declaring two goals to striker Charlie Austin—both goals were scored in the 8th minute—during the 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Loftus Rokeduad on November 8.
