TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Luis Enrique's decision not to put Lionel Messi and Neymar at the bench in the match against Eibar earlier today has resulted in triumph for Barcelona. Barca scored five goals and left their visitors goal-less.
Luis Enrique initially planned not to play Messi and Neymar considering their physical condition after they both defended own nations in the Asian Tour.
"I considered resting Messi, but you know there's always the risk that you miss a great goal like the one he scored today," the Barcelona coach said as quoted by Goal.com.
Blaugrana scored the opener through Xavi Hernandez at the 60th which was then followed by Neymar at the 72th and Messi at the 74th. The winning keeps Blaugrana at the top of La Liga classification and maintain their confidence ahead of the Champions League campaign against Ajax and El Classico against Real Madrid.
