TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Democrat Party is yet to decide to whom it will bind coalition. However, Democrat has requested two vital positions to the Merah-Putih Coalition, namely the Head of People's Council post and the Deputy Head of the House of Representatives post.

"Therefore, we have a tough discussion," said Deputy Treasurer of the Functional Group (Golkar) party Bambang Soesatyo. Bambang said that the most possible candidate from Democrat to be the Deputy Head of the House is surely to be Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, the son of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The coalition has actually appointed Setya Novanto as the candidate for the Head of the House. As for the deputy, it remains to be on discussion, yet Bambang claimed that Prabowo Coalition remains solid. "Golkar will not make a bad maneuver," he said.

On the other hand, Abdul Kadir Karding from the National Development Party (PKB) said that Democrat is also making a move to join the Jokowi's Coalition. He claimed that intensive lobbying is in underway, in which the coalition still depends on Democrat. Karding also confirmed that the leader of the Jokowi's Coalition is set to meet Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, saying that the meeting will be a form of lobbying and consolidating. "We want to break the ice," he said.
