TEMPO.CO, London - Chelsea succeeded to defend top position as The Blues beat Swansea City 4-2 in Premier League match in Stamford Bridge last night. This was also the time for Diego Costa to prove his worth as the Player of the Month as he scored a hat-trick.
The Blues fell short after John Terry sunk an 'suicidal' goal to give the visitor early lead. But soon, Costa's heroic hat-trick on the 45th, 56th, and 67th saved The Blues. The fourth winning goal came from Loic Remy who replaced Costa at the 81st.
On the other side, Swansea City managed to minimize their losing gap through Shelvey who scored on the 86th but then it was over. The position sealed at 4-2 for Chelsea to celebrate victory.
As for Diego Costa, his hat-trick confirmed him as the top scorer in the Premier League with seven goals.
