TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Twitter's President of Global Revenue and Partnerships, Adam Bain, said that his company is currently working on the cooperation with Indonesian cellular network providers to make tweets available on Short Message Service (SMS).
"We will be available on SMS," said Bain on an interview at Kempinski Hotel, Jakarta yesterday.
Once established, the service will enable users to receive notifications through text message service (SMS).
Bain said Indonesia was a strategic market for Twitter compared to other Asia Pacific countries. The interaction between netizens in Indonesia is also in high rank.
Twitter has up to 271 million active users around the world and around 20 million users come from Indonesia.
