TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The wonders of Raja Ampat Island in West is famous for its natural, cultural and underwater wonders that cannot be found in other place. These wonders have inspired two creative game developers Azmiah and Yasmin Shahab to introduce the exotic islands through a gadget game entitled 'The Adventure of Raja Ampat'.
According to Amy - nickname of Azmiah - the game is a mean of creative promotion for the Raja Ampat tourism development. In addition to the play, the game also includes information regarding tourism in Raja Ampat Islands.
"Raja Ampat is a world-class tourism destination. That is why we created an international-quality promotion medium like this game. [The game] is a low-cost but creative promotion but it covers all layers of society," said Ami to Tempo Tuesday.
"The plan is to give free download access for those who visit Raja Ampat. So that they will bring the game back to their home country and spread it."
Amy and her friends first introduced the game during the annual tourism event 2014 Sail Raja Ampat. During the occasion, the team also introduced it to the local students and educated them on how to promote the local tourism to the foreign tourists with the assistance of the game. Amy believes that introducing Raja Ampat means introducing Indonesia, there is a heaven on earth called Raja Ampat.
