TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Dedeh Erawati is still the fastest athlete in 100-meter female hurdle runner in the 2014 National Athletics Championship. The 34-year-old athlete scored the fastest record of 13.57 seconds, a full second ahead of runner-up Agustina Bawele.
However, Dedeh claimed to still be far from her best performance and her target in 2014 Asian Games. In order to compete in Asian Games Incheon, she needs to at least book 13.30 seconds.
The runner said to still have time to improve her performance, believing she will be motivated. "The atmosphere [in Incheon] is different. We do not know what will happen until the race is finished."
