TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Serie A Champion Juventus trashed Indonesian Super League (ISL) All-stars 8-1 in a friendly match at Bung Karno Stadium in Senayan last night. Playing against one of the best squads in European soil, Indonesia were ahead two minutes in the first half, courtesy to Persela Lamongan striker Srdan Lopicic.
However, Juventus returned with such ferocity that La Vecchia Signora booked five goals in the first half. After an equalizer from Andrea "Italian Chuck Norris" Pirlo, Spanish striker Fernando Llorente scored a hattrick. Italian international Sebastian Giovinco also booked his name on the goal scorer list, adding another goal in the first half.
In the second half, Juventus made several changes, sending in Strorari for Buffon, Chiellini for Ogbonna, and Tevez for Llorente. Regardless, Juventus were far too superior for ISL All-Stars. Replacements Kingsley Coman, Carlos Tevez, and Simone Pepe each scored a goal, helping Juventus win 8-1 at the final whistle.
