Endangered Asiatic Bear Caught on Camera Trap

TEMPO.CO , Ho Chi Minh - Camera trap installed by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has recently recorded an Asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus ) at Quang Nam province, Central Vietnam, about 650 kilometers south of Hanoi, Antara reported.
Local newspaper Vietnam News quoted some sources from WWF Communication Department that the animal has been listed by IUCN as the endangered animal.
Therefore, the finding is expected to be an important hint for the conservation efforts to increase the quality of one the world’s most diverse forest.
The black bear was caught on WWF’s camera for the second time since December 2012.
