TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Cabbages are widely available both in traditional and modern market. This kind of vegetable may not be your favorite but it contains plenty of substances good for health.


One benefit that can be directly affect breast-feeding mothers is to reduce pain and inflammation on the mothers’ breast. The peel of cabbage applied on the breast is equally effective to the anti-inflammation cold gel.


For decades Cabbage has been known to have anti-inflammatory effect and flexibility that is implicated as anticancer, gastric ulcer, and other digestive problems. It contains vitamin C, antioxidant, vitamin K for blood clotting and low poliphenol.

Cabbage also a source of manganese, vitamin B6 or pyroxidine, pholic, omega 3 fatty acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 or riboflavon, calcium, kalium, vitamin A, tryptophan, protein, and magnesium.
