Eight Voting Booths Set Up in Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Tangerang's General Election Commission (KPU) prepares eight voting booths (TPS) in the Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The TPS are aimed to employees who work in shifts so that they will be able to vote on voting day July 9.

The booths, as stated by KPU Head of Program and Data Division Ahmad Syailendra, will be opened in several points at Terminal 1, 2 ,3, cargo terminal, Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF), Aerofood Catering Service (ACS), PT Purantara Mitra Angkasa Dua, and the area of Terminal 3.

The total number of voters listed on the permanent voter list (DPS) in Soekarno-Hatta Airport is 3,218 people. The number includes the data gathered from eleven agencies in the airport.
