TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Mandate Party's politician Amien Rais said that the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) is too confident by forming only thin coalition.

"That's mean overconfidence," said Amien in Yogyakarta, Thursday. "Jokowi effect is none."

According to Amien, the presidential candidate should carry clear concept on how to build the country. The concepts should be clear for the policies taken in the economy, security and defense, and also political fields.

The former People's Consultative Assembly speaker is currently designing the Great Indonesia Coalition. Amien said that the great coalition is aimed to end the power monopoly that tends to be the background of political party coalition. However, Amien said that the new form of coalition will only reach its solidified form after the General Election Commission finished the counting.
