TEMPO.CO, Milan - Italian media reported Inter Milan’s president, Erick Thohir, has set a target to bring Jose Mourinho back to Giuseppe Meazza. The Indonesian businessman wants Mou to lead Nerazzurri to its glorious time, just like in 2009/10 season.
The Chelsea’s manager gained treble winners with Inter Milan in the season. Javier Zanetti and teammates gained Serie A Italia, Coppa Italia and Champions League titles in 2010.
As Walter Mazzarri's performance with Inter is rather dissatisfying, Thohir may plan to replace him with Mourinho. Thohir was caught watching Chelsea’s match against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge.
Thohir’s presence in London triggered speculations, including bringing Jose Mourinho back to Inter. But the Portuguese was just tied to Chelsea until June 2017.
Thohir’s plan to bring the Special One back to Inter would be acceptable. The 51-year-old manager has experiences with titles. Mou has won domestic titles with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Porto, as well as other titles.
