TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Eventhough Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had declared himself to run for presidency bid, he ensured the public that he will remain working on Monday to Friday, and only use weekends for campaigning business.
"From Monday to Friday I work as usual, while Saturday and Sunday are my day-offs, I used it for working on my presidential campaign. The point is that I am 99 percent still working as the Jakarta Governor," stated Jokowi in his official house on Jl. Taman Surapati No. 7, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, as quoted by Antara News.
Besides managing Jakarta, Jokowi mentioned that he is also focused on winning the legislative election that will be held on upcoming April 9.
