TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Senior Commissioner Rikwanto, spokesman of the Metro City Police, mentioned that one out of three terrorist suspects recently arrested in Bekasi, was involved in the Myanmar Embassy bombing. "A suspect [Khaerul] is suspected to be involved in the Myanmar embassy bombing incident," he said.
Commissioner Rikwanto confirmed that the Special Counter-Terrorism Detachment 88 has apprehended three terrorist suspects after conducting a raid on a printing house in Bekasi. The suspects are Khaerul Ikhwan (32), Andri Wahono (21), and Ahmad Irfan (23).
Rikwanto also mentioned that the arrest has nothing to do with the recent police shooting cases. Despite the initial report that stated that there were four suspects, only three person were brought in to be detained.
