Minister Dahlan Dispatches 700 CEOs as Teachers
Senin, 20 Mei 2013 22:06 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Surabaya – A total of 700 directors of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have been sent by SOEs Minister Dahlan Iskan to various regions as teachers. The CEOs took part in a program called 'SOEs Directors Teach' in commemoration of the National Awakening Day on May 20.
The directors are required to teach in their former high schools. "I've decided that directors and CEO will teach at their alma mater," said Dahlan during a public lecture at the Airlangga University on Monday, May 20. Dahlan summoned all directors and CEOs in Jakarta for a training on teaching. "These directors and CEOs are experts in managing and leading companies, marketing, and human resources. But they may not know how to teach," said the minister.
