TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lindaweni appeared to pay serious attention to her coach, Liang Chiu Sia, the very coach that trained Indonesian badminton legend, Susi Susanti. Today, Indonesia will face India in Sudirman Cup. Both of Lindaweni and her coach are still focusing on learning the video match record of P.V. Sindhu, Lindaweni's next opponent, against Wang Yihan.
Pusarla Venkata Sindhu (18), Indian female single player, once gave a shock when winning against world number two, Wang Yihan. Though eventually, Wang Yihan won the rest of the two sets.
"Lindaweni is ready, we are now learning the match record of her next opponent," said Liang Chiu Sia to Tempo.
Ricky Subagja, Deputy Manager of Indonesian team, also mentioned that the players are ready for the matches ahead.
In the men's singles, Ricky said that the decision to send Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka was based on several consideration. "The first one is that we cannot send Hayom and Tommy at the same time. The second one is that Hayom has won several times against Kashya," he said.
