TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Comission (KPK) reminded Tulungagung Regent Syahri Mulyo and Blitar Mayor Muhammad Samanhudi Anwar to turn themselves in to the authorities immediately, otherwise the anti-graft body would have to take them by force.
Syahri Mulyo and Samanhudi Anwar have been named suspects in the alleged bribery cases in the procurement of goods and services between the Tulungagung Regency and the Blitar City governments in the budget year of 2018.

KPK deputy chairman Saut Situmorang said Friday that the comission had not met with the two local leaders. KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah added the antigraft body had ample evidence to name them suspects.
"We have secured evidence proving their involvement in the projects carried out in the two areas," Febri remarked.
The KPK has also named four other people as suspects, viz. Agung Prayitno, Agung Sutrisno, Susilo Prabowo, and Bambang Purnomo.
To date, the KPK has no information yet on the whereabouts of Syahri Mulyo and Samanhudi Anwar.
