TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno reluctant to comment about the name of 40 mosques in Jakarta that are said to be indicated with and spread radicalism. The government has listed the names of the mosques.
“The data we had, of course, we ensure that there will be a coaching, but we cannot spell the names of the mosques,” said Sandiaga when met at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday, June 6.
Sandiaga Uno claimed there are 40 mosques in Jakarta that are indicated to spread radicalism. The data had been presented to President Joko Widodo, some time ago.
Sandiaga said 40 mosques are indicated to spread hate speech. “There are many (indications), perhaps from the divisive speech, hatred and so on,” Sandiaga said.
Currently, said the dupty governor, Jakarta Administration has taken steps to encourage the mosque administrator to hold positive activities and prevent the spread of radicalism.
According to Sandiaga Uno, the direct-supervised coaching is about empowerment and raising the economy in the mosque.
