Post Surabaya Bombings, Mayor Risma Develop Tech-based Security

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini has prepared several measures to recover and encourage the residents who became victims of the series of bombing attacks in the region.
“We provide the assistance [for the victims] until the expert decide that [their] condition return to normal,” said Risma in an exclusive interview with Tempo last week.
Risma stated the provincial government has built trauma centers in Surabaya University, Airlangga University, and Family Learning Center. “We also provide it in the western area of Surabaya,” she added.
Mayor Risma further mentioned there were support actions in residents’ housing complex, schools, education institutions, and mosque and other worship places.
“We develop tech-based security system in schools, housing complexes, and worship places under the provision of the head of RT/RW [neighborhood association]. We have communicated the matter with the teachers and the headmasters,” she explained regarding security measures following Surabaya bombing attacks.
