TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The entrance for pedestrians at the Parliament Complex of Indonesian MPR, DPR, and DPD is closed for public, to anticipate the impact of the bomb blast in Central Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, January 14, 2016.
"The entrance path to the Parliament Complex next to Palmerah Police Station is closed," said the Security Officer of the House of Representatives, Didi, on Jakarta, January 14.
He mentioned that the closure of the House entry was only for pedestrians as to minimize the access of offenders into the House of Representatives. Didi said the closure order came from the Head of the Security Officers of the House. "There is nothing special about the security in the House, only pedestrian access is closed," he added.
Until this news was published, the news of the bombing at Palmerah Police Station was a "hoax". And now, several policemen started to guard and dozens of security officers were stationed close to the police station.
