Pencak Silat Women`s Team`s Win Adds Indonesia`s Gold Tally to 27

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia became the best in the artistic category of Pencak Silat Women`s Team at the 2018 Asian Games. The group consisted of Lutfi Nurhasanah, Gina Tri Lestari, and Pramudita Yuristya.
At the final game held in Taman Mini’s Padepokan Pencak Silat, East Jakarta, today, the three athletes were able to display captivating moves in rhythm to score 466 points. The runner-up trio from Vietnam scored 464 points, while the bronze medal achieved by Thailand which scored 448 points.

This is the 11th gold medal achieved by Pencak Silat at the Asian Games. Currently, Indonesia has collected 27 gold medals, 20 silvers and 33 bronzes.
The Indonesian national team ranks the top four at the 2018 Asian Games after China (99 golds), Japan (44 golds), and South Korea (32 golds). Iran is in the fifth place with 17 golds.
