TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Investment Alert Task Force of Financial Services Authority (OJK) called on the society to be wary of investment product offers from 18 companies that were alleged to operate illegally and potentially inflict a financial loss.
“We called on the society to be alert and not to join any offers of investment or product from 18 companies,” said the task force’s chief Tongam L Tobing in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 10.
Those eighteen companies are Agen Kuota Exclusive (http://www.kuotaaxclusive.com), PT Duta Network Indonesia, KH Pulsa (khpulsa.id, khpulsa.com, Pulsa Center), PT Citra Travelindo Jaya (Java Travel, https://travelpreneur.academy), PT Sejahtera Mandiri Insani (SMI) (Bit Emass), UFS Atomy, Atomyindo.com, Ufs100.com, and Powerful Network Building (PNB).
Moreover, there are Cavallo Coin (cavallocoin.co, cavallocoin.net, www.cavallo-coin.com), Voltroon (https://voltroon.com), Bitwincoin (Bitwincoin.com, https://bwex.co), Java Coin (javacoin.co), WX Coin (wxcoins.com), Cryptolabs (https://cryptolabs.biz), www.unosystem.us, PT Pollywood Internasional Indonesia, and PT Seraya Investama Indonesia (www.serayainvestama.com).

Tongam stated the offering of illegal investment offer increasingly widespread and worrisome since those fraud company benefitted the society’s lack of knowledge on the investment and proposed unreasonable profit. Those companies’ activity or products have no legal permit as they only eyeing huge profit from the people.
Previously, Tongam said, the task force has investigated those 18 companies’ activity. “And based on the law, those companies have to stop all their activities,” he asserted.
He reminded the society to affirm the company and its product’s permit before making an investment and did not fall to a huge profit they promise without understanding the risk.
Furthermore, Tongam informed that people can access Investor Alert Portal on OJK website www.sikapiuangmu.ojk.go.id to obtain the information of the unlicensed fund-collecting company.
