Medco to Operate Oil Field at Oman

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: PT Medco Energy Internasional started operating the Karim oil field at Oman. The operation is being carried out by its subsidiary, Medco LLC, which has signed a partnership with Petroleum Development Oman LLC on 20 March of this year.Managing Director of Medco Energi , Hilmi Panigoro, said that the operation of the Karim oil field as of 8 August of this year will be a stepping stone for the company belonging to the Panigoro family in order to expand its business in the Middle East. “It's a stepping stone to strengthen its existence in the Middle East,' he said in a written explanation to the Jakarta Stock Exchange last weekend.YURA
