TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Planning and Development Minister Andrinof Chaniago, said that there are 38 infrastructure projects that will be built through public-private-partnerships (PPP) scheme, as outlined in Ministerial Decree No. 82/M.PPN/HK/05/2015, which lists the number of infrastructure projects for 2015.

"Bidding for six of these projects could already be opened," said Andrinof at his office on Monday, June 29, 2015.

Andrinof said that apart from PPPs, some of the projects will also be funded by the government - through the 2015 State Budget (APBN), as well as loans and grants from international creditors.

According to Andrinof, whereas six projects are ready to be tendered, eight are classified as prospective, while the remaining 24 are still classified potential projects.

Six projects that are ready to be tendered include the procurement of train carriages for the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport - Halim Rail Link, Bandung's Light Rapid Transit (LRT) in West Java, the construction of the Tanjung Enim-Tanjung Api-Api Rail Link in South Sumatra, and the construction of clean water facilities in West Semarang in Central Java, Pondok Gede in Bekasi, as well as Pekanbaru in Riau.

Meanwhile, eight PPP projects that are currently labelled as prospective includes the Gedebage Integrated Railway Station in Bandung, South Sumatra Monorail Link, Manado-Bitung Tollway, Tanjung Priok Tollway Access Road, Balikpapan-Samarinda Tollway, Cileunyi-Sumedang Tollroad in Dawuan, Pandaan-Malang Tollway in East Java, a Hydroelectric Dam in Karama, West Sulawesi.

"The rest are potential projects that are still currently being reviewed - includes the Kuala Tanjung Hub Port, and Kulon Progo International Airport," said Andrinof.
