TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sugihartatmo, the Secretary of Coordinating Minister of Human and Culture Development, stated that his ministry is still facing difficulties in realizing the "Mental Revolution" program. The Ministry is still formulating the right form of activities to realize the policy. "We need to be careful in making strategies that would be acknowledged by everyone," he said to Tempo, last weekend.

According to Sugihartatmo, the activity which is now being formulated, is aimed to change the society's behavior and mentality. However, the ministry had not even set the focus of the program. The reason, there is still some debates over the basic values that will become the material for the main campaign.

"The Mental Revolution" was a jargon from the Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla pair when they were campaiging in the presidential race. After they were voted, both of them intended to realize the jargon. The fund for the program had been allocated in the 2015 State Budget Amendment in the amount of Rp149 billion.

The allocated fund will be used by the ministry that is led by Puan Maharani to faciliate the program's coordination and dissemination by campaigning. "For formulating the policy and campaigning, it will need about Rp130 billion, The rest will be used for development and evaluation," explained Sugihartatmo.
