TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President elect Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, said there were ministries filled by the mafia. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, he said, is a ministry that is highly involved with the mafia.

The former mayor of Solo said that the solution to that problem relies on the minister. "To overcome this mafia [problem], there needs to be strong leadership," he said in Solo on Sunday, July 27.

This whole time, Jokowi said, the government has had difficulties in terms of managing surveillance; allowing the mafia to roam free in ministries. "We are often sloven when it comes to surveillance," he said.

Jokowi said there were two ministries that will be the focus of his administration: the Agriculture Ministry and the Energy Ministry.
