TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian National Team U-23 won 1-0 over Cambodia in SEA Games 2013, Myanmar. Striker Yandi Sofyan Munawar booked his name on the score sheet in the second half, contributing three points for the young Garuda.
Despite the premiere winning at group stage, Indonesia failed to reprise the sensational 6-0 winning back in 2011. The 1-0 winining also put Indonesia at third of the group standings, below Myanmar and Thailand over goal difference, of which Indonesia will later have to take on.
Reviews have been popping, in concern of Garuda's performance in the match. Although Indonesia managed to rule the game, the players seemed to be lack in creativity, relying only to Andik Vermansah and Ramdani Lestaluhu in the midfield area. Some players even failed to perform in their top shape, like Persipura Jayapura's Ferdinando Pahabol who came in the second half to replace Yandi Sofyan.
