TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian U-23 National Team moved to the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) Final after beating Turkey on a penalty battle, 7-6 last night.
Indonesia was confirmed for the winning after Turkey's Ahmet Yilmaz Alik, the last Turkey kicker, failed to send the ball into the net. On Indonesian side, seven of the eight players were successfully scoring goals, except for Sunarto, who failed on the fifth turn.
On tomorrow's final, Indonesia will play against the winner of the other quarter final matches, between Morocco and Saudi Arabia. However, with this winning, Indonesia has had secured a silver medal for the ISG football branch.
