TEMPO.CO, Tangerang – Thousands of laborers is expected to ‘charge’ Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Cengkareng on May Day, Wednesday, May 1. The airport management has requested passengers to avoid entering the airport through the rear gate.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport management Angkasa Pura II general manager Yudis Tiawan encouraged passengers, air crew and anyone going to the airport to avoid entering the area through the rear entrance M1 starting from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

However, the M1 gate will not be officially closed. Airport precinct spokesman Comr. Agus Tri said people can still go to the airport via Jalan Surya Darma heading to Rawa Boko-Benda or through the main gate from Sedyatmo toll road that heads to Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
