TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia in cooperation with SmartRyde, Inc., an airport transportation service provider, presented an exclusive passenger pick-up and drop-off service at the airport.
President Director of Garuda, Irfan Setiaputra, this collaboration aims to optimize and provide added value to users of the airline's service, which is available from Friday, June 7.
Irfan said passengers can book the service through the FlyGaruda application, “No later than 36 hours before arrival at the destination,” he said Irfan in a written statement on Friday, June 7.
According to him, the service is available at airports on international routes, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Singapore, Amsterdam, Seoul, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur.
In addition to providing added value, Irfan said this collaboration offers an alternative for passengers to access land transport services to their destination after flying with Garuda.
“This initiative is our commitment to provide a seamless travel experience from pre-flight, in-flight, to post-flight,” said Irfan.
Sota Kimura, CEO and Founder of SmartRyde, welcomed the partnership with Garuda to enhance the travel experience for international passengers. He said this is a milestone in connecting air and land transport through a seamless travel experience.
“SmartRyde is working to improve ancillary products for the aviation industry sector by offering easy airport transfer bookings for service users around the world,” said Sota.
