TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Norwegian DJ and music producer, Alan Walker, made a surprise visit to the teachers and students of Al-Azhar Medan Private High School in Indonesia on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Alan Walker flew directly from New York to Medan to meet them in person.
It started with Alan Walker finding a video on TikTok showing a teacher from Indonesia, Tri Adinata, teaching his students the art of music by playing Alan Walker's song entitled "Who I Am" which was sung with Putri Ariani and Peder Elias. Alan Walker followed this up by recording his own TikTok video reacting to a special moment with students in Medan.
Alan Walker Joins Music Class
Once Alan Walker walked into the music class and surprised everyone, all the students were amazed by the presence of the world famous DJ. Alan Walker also witnessed the students' performance on this occasion.
"It feels like a dream that @alanwalkermusic came to @perguruanalazharmedan 28 hours flight from America to Medan and immediately sang together in music class, I was really moved," wrote Tri Adinata on his personal Instagram.
