The annual event "Tenda Ramadhan" has been held by BSMM since 2006 and is the only iftar activity in Russia which invites participation in arts and culture performances by foreign diplomatic representatives or community organizations, while in many mosques or other cultural centers in Russia, activities in the month of Ramadan are iftar only, which is preceded by a tausyiah (sermon) as is generally the case in Indonesia.
At this year's Ramadan Tent, the event was attended by representatives of the embassies of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, various federal subjects and mass organizations in Russia.
