TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Indonesian General Election Commission, or KPU, will hold a vote recapitulation plenary meeting for national and abroad votes on the 12th day for four provinces on Sunday, March 10. Today’s meeting is the second day at the national level.

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said four provincial KPUs had confirmed their presence in the plenary meeting, namely Bali, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, and Central Java.

“Bali’s [KPU members] have possibly landed in Jakarta at 8, so the recapitulation would be at 10 a.m. at the earliest,” said Hasyim earlier today.

Bali would ask for an early plenary meeting as they need to return soon for the Day of Silence Holiday or Nyepi tomorrow. Meanwhile, Bangka Belitung and West Kalimantan confirmed to attend in the afternoon and evening, and Central Java confirmed they would arrive in Jakarta on Sunday evening.

“If it’s evening, that means after Maghrib time, and we have verified that everything’s ready, so Central Java can also join the recapitulation later tonight,” said Hasyim.

Yesterday, KPU completed the meeting for the first four provinces: Central Kalimantan, Gorontolo, Lampung, and Yogyakarta. The Number 02 candidate pair, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, won in the four provinces.

In Central Kalimantan, they received 1,097,070 votes from a total of 1,553,192 voters. In Lampung, Prabowo-Gibran also won by a wide margin, garnering 3,554,310 votes out of a total of 5,206,308 voters. In Gorontalo, Prabowo-Gibran received 504,662 votes from a total of 784,051 votes. In Yogyakarta, Prabowo-Gibran won with 1,269,266 votes out of a total of 2,567,394 votes. The total number of votes for Prabowo-Gibran in the first four provinces was 6,425,307.

Candidate pair number 01, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, was second in three provinces, namely Central Kalimantan, Lampung, and Gorontalo. In these provinces, they received 256,811, 791,892, and 227,354 votes, respectively. The total votes for Anies-Muhaimin in the first four provinces is 1,772,337

Meanwhile, candidate pair number 03 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. outperformed only the Anies-Muhaimin pair in Yogyakarta. They received 741,220 votes ahead of Anies-Muhaimin who only received 496,280 votes. Ganjar-Mahfud only received a total of 1,706,002 votes in these four provinces.

On Monday, KPU finished the national recapitulation in 127 abroad voting areas. The result was the winning of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabumong Raka.
