IKN Authority: Investment Interest Sustained, Market Sentiment Positive

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono said the interest in investment in the Nusantara capital city of the IKN project is sustained and shows a positive market sentiment so far.

"The momentum of IKN development and the market sentiment is quite positive through a sustained investor interest," he said during the groundbreaking event today for the IKN Authority Office in East Kalimantan.

Bambang said several private and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are kickstarting their development for five-star hotels, Nusantara Warehouse, and Nusantara Logistic Hub.

"Today's activity involves ten private institutions, SOEs, governmental agencies, ministries, and public organizations, and covers various sectors to form a complete city ecosystem," he said during the groundbreaking event, which marked the first in 2024 and fourth overall.

In addition to the state mosque, Beranda Nusantara, governmental offices, and the headquarters of LPS, Bambang said, state-owned radion station RRI also held its first radio broadcast through a mini studio located in the construction workers area.

He hoped that the broadcast would give accurate and actual news on IKN development for Indonesian citizens nationwide. 

"Today, we also continue the reforestation program initiated by President Joko Widodo, kickstarting a green and sustainable area in IKN named Green Pesantren Nusantara," he added.
