Anies Baswedan Spends 17th Day of Campaign in Jambi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential candidate number one Anies Baswedan focused his day-17 campaign in Jambi Province. Anies started his campaign activities at around 09:30 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
The running candidate at the 2024 general elections will hold a dialogue with sellers and residents at Pagi Angsa Duo Market, Jl. Sultan Thaha to be exact, Telanaipura District, Jambi City.
After, he will meet with the Student Executive Board (BEM) across Jambi at Abadi Convention Center, Jambi City in an interactive discussion session called "Tanyo Bang Anies" or "Ask Anies". Anies will discuss social, economic, and political issues with local students and youth.
At the same place, Anies will hold a limited campaign activity with Jambi locals at 01:35 p.m. WIB, followed by his visit to Jambi's ulema at 03:35 p.m. WIB.
Prior to his campaign in Jambi, Anies held a series of campaign activities in Riau. Those include the "Corner Anies Episode: Pekanbaru" where he received questions on various topics including disability justice.
During his time in Riau, Anies also promised free legal assistance for people called Hotline Paris. "We will allot the budget, more than what is planned right now. We also prepare lawyers who are willing to spend their knowledge and experience to defend the people," he said at Sudirman Sports Center in Pekanbaru.
Anies Baswedan is the presidential candidate contesting in the upcoming election with his vice presidential partner Muhaimin Iskandar. Anies is backed by the Coalition of Change, consisting of the Nasdem Party, PKB, and PKS.
