TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG released the weather forecast for today, Monday, November 27, 2023. According to the BMKG, parts of Greater Jakarta will see a potential for rain since morning. The rest of the region will be cloudy.

Tangerang City, Serpong (South Tangerang), and Tigaraksa (Tangerang Regency) are forecasted to get a drizzle over this morning, persisting until the afternoon, while the weather will be cloudy in the evening.

The air temperature in these areas ranges from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius. However, BMKG released an early warning for the northern part of Tangerang Regency. "Beware of medium to heavy rain with lightning and strong winds," the agency released.

Bekasi will also be greeted with rain this morning, while Depok and Bogor will see cloudy weather to start the day. At noon, rain will pour over the three regions with varying intensity, with medium rain to drench Cibinong in Bogor Regency and Bogor City while Bekasi and Depok will get a drizzle.

In the evening, the regions except for the Cibinong area will clear up of rain. BMKG also warned the residents of Bekasi, Depok, and Bogor to remain vigilant of the potential for medium to heavy rain with lightning and strong winds at around noon and afternoon.

The air temperature in Bogor City ranges from 22 to 31 degrees Celsius, Depok and Cibinong range from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, and Bekasi ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, cloudy weather will persist throughout Jakarta this morning except for the partly cloudy skies over South Jakarta. A drizzle will greet South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon, while West Jakarta will be overcast this evening.

The lowest air temperature in Jakarta today is 23 degrees Celsius while the highest will be 30 degrees Celsius.
