New Year Holiday; Batik Air Offers Ticket Promo for Intl. Flights Starting from Rp1.5mn

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Low-cost carrier Batik Airline announced exciting ticket promotions for travelers and business people who are planning to visit leading cities around the world during the New Year’s holiday.

“[The promotional tickets are available for flights] from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Dubai, and many more," the airline’s spokesperson, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, said in a written statement on Friday, November 24.

Danang said the main route of the flights will be from Jakarta via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten (CGK) to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“Batik Air is offering special round-trip fares starting from Rp1.5 million for tickets purchased via the BookCabin application,” Danang added.

In addition, each ticket purchase made through the BookCabin mobile app will receive an additional discount of Rp50,000 along with easy online check-in and other benefits.

From Kuala Lumpur, passengers can continue their journey to other interesting destinations, including Taipei, Taiwan starting from Rp3.1 million; Seoul, South Korea (ICN) starting from Rp5.5 million; Tokyo, Japan (NRT) starting from Rp7 million; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates (DXB) starting from Rp8.4 million.

Danang explained that under the multi-city concept, travelers and businessmen would enjoy various benefits such as travel flexibility, cost efficiency, and a wide choice of destinations.
