TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Batik Air airlines is offering daily aviation services from Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra to Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said that the flights will have one daily schedule, and offer an additional value to tourists and businesspeople. "The additional value is broadening the access to more than forty notable cities around the world," he said in a written statement on Tuesday, November 7.
For this route, Batik Air operated Boeing 737-800NG and Boeing 737-900ER airplanes.
According to Danang, by providing daily flights to Kuala Lumpur and Penang from Kualanamu Airport, Batik Air facilitates passengers, tourists, and North Sumatran businesspeople to explore popular destinations across the globe.
With shorter flight periods, tourists can explore their dream destinations sooner rather than later. It is also possible, Danang added, to explore various destinations with a single trip with the multicity service through Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
"Kualanamu offers connectivity inside of Malaysia, such as Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Malaka which provides easier access for tourists to reach their chosen destinations," he said.
The flights from Kualanamu to Kuala Lumpur also offer an extraordinary possibility for tourists to explore more than 40 favorite cities in various countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, India, and others.
"The beauty of nature, rich cultures, mouthwatering cuisines, and various tourism activities including health tourism, Penang is a destination that offers varying experiences for its visitors," Danang concluded.
