TEMPO.CO, Bogor - The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) through the Directorate General of Village Governance (Bina Pemdes) expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all parties for the training of the Village Governance and Development Strengthening Program (P3PD) in 33 provinces that runs smoothly.
This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Village Governance Paudah at the closing of the “Workshop on Supervision and Control of P3PD” on Tuesday night, Nov. 21, 2023, in Sentul, Bogor.
“On behalf of the leaders, we would like to thank you. We realize that the success of the P3PD training, of course, cannot be separated from the hard work of the parties involved, especially the provincial governments, district governments, and village governments as well as the support of the experts, namely the regional management consultant (RMC) and the professional assistants in each province who are our working partners, so that the P3PD training in 33 provinces runs smoothly,” said the Secretary of the Directorate General of Village Governance Paudah.
Paudah explained that until now, 32 provinces have successfully held the training. Meanwhile, one province that has not yet completed the training is East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) due to problems with accommodation and transportation facilities. However, for NTT it is targeted that the first week of December, they can complete the training.
“Overall everything went smoothly, I thank you directly to all of you who attended this activity,” said Paudah.
Paudah explained that holding this massive training in 33 provinces was not easy. However, this can be achieved because of the help of all parties. She realized that there were still many shortcomings and she apologized for them.
“We all know, this program has been running since 2020 but was constrained by Covid-19. Training only started massively in 2023. In this one-year period, we completed two years of training that were delayed. We know very well that there will be shortcomings,” said Paudah.
“Therefore, our hope is that through this workshop we will make improvements for 2024. This is our effort to make the training run smoothly,” said the Secretary of the Directorate General of Village Governance.
Paudah also asked for support for the P3PD training phase II in 2024. According to her, the P3PD training in 2024 will implement the Learning Management System (LMS).
"It is no less important that in the future we will conduct training, not only face-to-face training but also implement LMS. This needs the attention of all, especially RMCs who will assist provincial/district governments to escort trainees through the LMS," said Paudah.
