KAI Expo 2023 Returns with Train Tickets Starting from Rp50,000

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) opened the KAI Expo 2023 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) today, September 29, offering train tickets starting at Rp50,000.
During the event which will last until October 1, tickets for the luxury train are on sale at Rp300,000, the executive class at Rp150,000, the business class at Rp100,000, and the economy class at Rp50,000 for departures on October 1-31, 2023
PT KAI spokesperson Joni Martinus said the event was held to celebrate the National Transportation Day which falls on September 17 and KAI’s 78th anniversary on September 28.
“This is aimed at improving service to customers,” Joni said in a written statement quoted on Friday, September 29.
PT KAI provided a total of 73,500 tickets for various long-distance trips on luxury, executive, business, or economy-class trains.
Among the trains at discounted prices are the KA Argo Bromo Anggrek Train (Gambir - Surabaya Pasarturi round trip), the KA Fajar Utama Yogyakarta (Pasarsenen - Yogyakarta round trip), and the KA Turangga (Bandung - Surabaya Gubeng round trip).
