Ancol Offers Free Emissions Tests in Support of Air Pollution Control

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (Ancol) and the Environmental Office of North Jakarta held a free emissions test event to support the government air pollution control program. The program was located at the parking area in the Ecovention Building, Ancol Dreamland on Tuesday morning, September 12, 2023.
To participate in the emissions test, Ancol employees and visitors are only required to bring a copy of their vehicle registration certificate. The emissions test was intended for both cars and motorcycles.
SVP Corporate Secretary and Investor Relations of Ancol Agung Praptono mentioned that the program is the realization of Ancol's commitment to contribute to the control of the worsening air pollution in Jakarta. "Ancol strives to support the government in their effort to control pollution, one of which is through the free emissions test that has been done previously in 2022," he said in a written statement received by Tempo today.
Ancol hopes that the program will be beneficial to the wider public, Agung informed.
In addition to the free emissions test, Ancol also showed its commitment to supporting the government's effort by offering free tickets for visitors who use electric vehicles. The free tickets can be obtained through www.ancol.com.
The policy to reduce air pollution in Jakarta has been implemented from July 2023 to December 31, 2023.
