TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo English has compiled several weekend agendas set to be held on September 2-3, 2023, spanning across cultural, arts, and sports events. These agendas include the SIPA Festival 2023, the West Java Festival, the Museum MACAN Collage Workshop, and the adrenaline-inducing Nglanggeran Mountain Bike 2023.

1. SIPA Festival 2023
The Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) Festival 2023 is held for 3 days from August 31, 2023, to September 2, 2023, in Fort Vastenburg, Solo. The performances are also livestreamed on SIPA Festival’s official YouTube channel.
The event offers music, dance, and theater performances promising to capture people’s hearts and minds. The event is participated by a total of 291 performing artists joining 14 domestic performer groups and 7 foreign performer groups from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Lithuania, Japan, and Taiwan.
2. West Java Festival 2023
To commemorate West Java’s 78th anniversary, the provincial government is set to hold the West Java Festival this weekend on September 2-3, 2023 with the theme of “Insect of West Java”.
The festival will be centered at Gedung Sate in Bandung while the music concert and carnival will be held in Siliwangi Stadium, Bandung on Sunday. Tickets are necessitated only for those attending the WJF concert.
3. Museum MACAN’s Collage Journal Workshop
Museum MACAN in Jakarta is offering a paper-based collage journal workshop with the theme of “Cluing/Gluing Memories" on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 02:00-05:00 p.m.
The workshop will be led by Karin Josephine, a Jakarta-based visual artist focusing on exploring collage techniques through various mediums. The workshop is limited to 10 participants and will provide the necessary tools and materials.
4. Nglanggeran Mountain Bike 2023
After the last biking event in 2019, the Nglanggeran Mountain Bike is set to be held again this year on Sunday, September 3, 2023. The sports event will begin at 07:00 a.m. in Lake Nglanggeran, spanning 14 kilometers of extreme mountainous route. Participants are obliged to wear safety attributes during the trip.
