One of the measures to relieve food poisoning symptoms is consuming emergency food, such as coconut water. Below are detailed examples of emergency foods to help in case of food poisoning:
1. Bananas
Banana is easily digested by the body and rich in potassium. Bananas will restore the potassium level in your body and help relieve irritated intestines. Bananas are also rich in pectin which will help absorb any excess liquid in the body to reduce food poisoning-induced diarrhea.
2. Yogurt
Yogurt could help restore the intestinal bacterias which were expelled during food poisoning. Yogurt is also a protein source that will help stabilize blood sugar.
3. Coconut water
Generally, it is believed that coconut water could relieve food poisoning symptoms. Coconut water is rich in electrolytes, which is good for rehydration.
