TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's low-cost carrier Super Air Jet will open a new international route from Lombok and Surabaya to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
"Non-stop flights from Lombok and Surabaya to Kuala Lumpur will operate beginning on August 23, 2023," said Chief Executive Officer Super Air Jet Ari Azhari in a written statement on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Ari explained that the new route will create an enjoyable flight experience and contribute to strengthening connectivity and regional economic growth.
Super Air Jet opens wider access for explorers to experience new things and facilitate easier business trips to Kuala Lumpur. "Super Air Jet offers swift, efficient, and comfortable non-stop flights, allowing the passengers to arrive quicker in Kuala Lumpur," Ari said.
For the international service, Super Air Jet operated Airbus 320-200 (180 for the economy class) appropriate for millennial passengers, with a comfortable cabin and leg room.
Ari mentioned the reasons why this flight route fits millennial travelers perfectly. He said that millennial loves to post their trips on social media in "Instagrammable Portraits". Kuala Lumpur has tons of Instagramable spots such as the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Alor Street, and the eye-catching street mural art for millennials to post. "Kuala Lumpur is a multicultural city offering impressive tourist attractions, from modern architecture to historical places, trendy cafes, and fun nightlife activities. There are tons to explore and enjoy (in Kuala Lumpur)," said Ari.
