Jokowi Inaugurates 17.6-km Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo was scheduled to inaugurate the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road in Bengkulu City, which stretches for 17.6 kilometers. The toll road is part of the Lubuk Linggau-Curup-Bengkulu toll road which has a total length of 96 kilometers.
The Presidential Secretariat reported that before inaugurating the toll road, the President would visit the State Vocational School or SMK 2 and the Srikuncoro Community Health Center in Central Bengkulu Regency to inspect the stunting eradication program.
After inaugurating the toll road, Jokowi would distribute social assistance to traders at the Kepahiang Market, Kepahiang Regency, and then head to the Kepahiang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) to monitor facilities for the BPJS Kesehatan program and Tuberculosis care.
Later this afternoon, the state head would visit SMK 1 and then Sunday Market in Bengkulu City.
Jokowi landed in Bengkulu Province on Wednesday afternoon, July 19, to carry out a series of working visits until Friday, July 21, in five regions, viz. Bengkulu City, Central Bengkulu Regency, Kepahiang Regency, Seluma Regency, and North Bengkulu Regency.
