Jokowi Confirms to Watch Coldplay Concert, Unsure about Indonesia vs Argentina Match

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo confirmed that he will attend the Coldplay concert on November 15, 2023, at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Central Jakarta. People, especially Indonesians, are highly enthusiastic to watch the first British band’s show in the country which is evident from the tickets being sold out within a few minutes.
“I will watch [Coldplay] because I have already got the ticket,” he said at the State Palace area, Central Jakarta on Monday, June 5, 2023.
But when asked whether he will attend the friendly match of Indonesia vs Argentina at the GBK Stadium on June 19, 2023, the state head could not say for sure since the ticket sales just opened today.
“I don't know if I will get a ticket or not,” he said while laughing.
In the FIFA Matchday match, there are 4 categories of tickets being sold, namely Category 3, Category 2, Category 1, and VIP.
Category 3 tickets are priced at Rp600,000, Category 2 costs Rp1.2 million, Category 1 costs Rp2.5 million, and VIP costs Rp4.25 million. Ticket purchases have been opened starting today exclusively for BRI customers, while for the public on June 6-7.
Similar to Coldplay tickets, tickets for Indonesia vs Argentina match are sold out within a few minutes.
