BSI Mobile Service Recovery Done Gradually, 434 Branch Offices Open on Weekend

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Sharia bank, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia or BSI, added operating hours during the recovery period of its mobile banking service following the disruption for several days earlier this week. The sharia bank president director Hery Gunardi said 434 branch offices across the country open this weekend on Saturday-Sunday, May 13-14. 

"BSI will be operational outside of working days or on the weekend so the customers can get the services they need," Hery said in a statement on Saturday, May 13.

The customers can withdraw funds, deposit cash, and get book-entry services. BSI customer care service is also open this weekend. Special deposit services for institutional customers and paying partners can also be made at BSI branch offices this weekend.

The branch offices are spread in Indonesian regions, namely in Aceh, Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Jambi, Palembang, Bengkulu, and Bandar Lampung. Also in Jakarta Greater Area (Jabodetabek), Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. Including in Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Maluku, Bali and Nusa Tenggara, as well as Papua. 

Hery said the customers can reach BSI Call at 14040 for further information regarding the branch offices that open its services on the weekend.
