TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) have begun to sell tickets for the Mandalika World Superbike (WSBK) race in 2023. To attract more spectators, the MGPA provides up to 75 percent discount starting from 12 to 30 January 2023.

According to ITDC Director of Operations Troy Reza Warokka, the sizable discount for the Mandalika 2023 WSBK tickets was a form of appreciation to the Indonesian people who had enlivened the international racing event in Mandalika.

"The WSBK event last November 2022, has attracted more than 50,000 people. This shows the public enthusiasm for this world racing event and trust in its security, comfort, facilities, and infrastructure that have been provided in the Mandalika International Circuit," said Troy as quoted from Antara on Friday, January 13, 2023.

The 75 percent early bird discount applies to all ticket categories, starting from general admission, regular grandstand, premium grandstand, premier class, and deluxe class. However, these discounted tickets have limited availability.

Regarding the prices, tickets for three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are sold at prices ranging from Rp 250,000 to Rp 1,250,000. Daily tickets on Sunday are sold at the same price range.

For the Premier Class category tickets are sold at Rp 5,500,000 and Deluxe Class is sold at Rp 3,500,000. These tickets can be purchased through Xplorin, Loket.com, Tiket.com and Mytours applications.

WSBK Mandalika will be held from 3 to 5 March 2023, the second series after the opening in Phillip Island, Australia from 24 to 26 February 2023.
